Reaching the Aktivhotel Tuxerhof by car is quick and easy. Take the Inntal motorway (A12, toll sticker required!) to the Zillertal exit, then follow the B169 Zillertal road for about 20 kilometres until you reach the Zell am Ziller Nord exit. At the junction, turn left, drive under the main road, cross the bridge and continue straight ahead. After the left-hand bend, you’ll see our hotel clearly visible – directly opposite the valley station of the Rosenalmbahn.

Arrival by Train & Bus

Public Transport

Travel in comfort by train to Jenbach station. From there, take the Zillertalbahn through the picturesque valley directly to Zell am Ziller. At Zell station, buses and taxis are available for your onward journey. You can reach our hotel in just a few minutes by bus – simply get off at the "Zillertal Arena / Rohr" stop, located right next to the Aktivhotel Tuxerhof.

Several airports are available for your journey by air: the nearest is Innsbruck (approx. 65 km), followed by Salzburg (approx. 163 km) and Munich (approx. 188 km). From all airports, you can reach the Aktivhotel Tuxerhof easily by rental car, by train and bus, or with a direct taxi or airport transfer right to the hotel door.
